I was looking for a Micromax A111 mobile to buy. Got thru Flipkart website late nite during a weekend and found the price of this model to be the lowest and best offer on this site @Rs 8700/- and placed order online.
Immediately also called their cust service to confirm my order and the guy confirmed my order. I called after 2 days to check the status but I was told that my order has been cancelled. Upon questioning more n more the agent nor the TL was able to give a satisfying response for this order being cancelled at Flipkarts end. This was disgusting to me since I was willing to buy the product but they cancelled the order. I realized that the offer shown on their website late night was an eye wash for the customers and to only fool customers
Post a week, I got to Flipkart again and found the same offer @ Rs.8700 around mid night. This time I called their customer service number 18002089898 to place a order over the phone instead of online. The guy who took my call refused to take the order and asked to call at 10 AM since the order placed at this hour either online or over phone will get cancelled. I was now fully convinced that Flipkart is a complete cheat website and just shows great deals late nights to just fool customers.
I greatly thank my luck that I didn’t place any order or did any business with Flipkart. Not sure post ordering how much I may had to suffer with Flipkart
Beware of Flipkart!
