I wanted to order 18 books and to ensure I get it on time, I called them to place an order. Saurabh from the group sales confirmed that the books were in stock and I would get it by time. Then he goes ahead and places the order as 3 different orders.
I get an email after a day that they are able to deliver only few books and the other will take 4-7 business days, which goes way beyond my deadline for getting the books.
I call them up and all they can say is it was in stock and now its not. How can a book which was in stock suddenly not be anymore. When someone orders dont they block the ones they have in stock. I am sure the books were not in stock and they just assumed they would be able to get it.
All the supervisor went on saying is that they are sorry but cannot do anything to make sure my order is fulfilled.
This is really bad service from them. If they don’t have the stock they should not take the order. This is a waste of time where I could have procured the book from someone else, but now I don’t have enough time because I trusted they would deliver on time.
Really bad service.
