I bought a TV Stand from Flipkart.com on 4th October 2015, based on the picture shown, dimensions given and price. The product was delivered in two lots. The installer came after 1 day and opened up the packets. He found some parts missing in it and left asking me to inform Flipkart about this. Why did he not inform what was missing in a report to his employer? Well, he is just a outsourced carpenter getting some fee for fixing the pre-fab boards of the furniture.
I wrote to Flipkart.com asking them of why I should accept this product. No reply. I complained for 3 days continuously. No response. Finally someone from WS Retail called and stated that they would send the missing part. I hollered them to not play around and better take back their piece of furniture partially delivered. The carpenter who had come first had opened all the pieces and they were strewn all around by Balcony rendering it unusable for 2 weeks. After much deliberation I agreed to receive the missing part and also gave permission to their installer to fix the furniture. The part arrived after 4 days and after following up the carpenter arrived yesterday. He fitted the furniture and lo and behold! I found the dimensions completely different from what was ordered. The height was 6" shorter, width 4"lesser and length was 12"longer. The whole furniture looks like a sore thumb in my drawing room. I am attaching the drawing with the dimensions actually received in red font.
Flipkart should immediately take back this equipment and refund me.
