I used floraindia.com to deliver flowers to my parents in Chennai, on their 30th wedding anniversary. The flowers were not delivered on time and the delivery person called them up an hour and a half before he was due and asked them for directions to the house. I am disappointed because the directions I had provided were crystal clear and only a half-wit would have called them up and made them wait for one and a half hours for their’surprise’ delivery.
I called up floraindia after this to register a complaint and was met with extreme rudeness by one of their representative, one Mr Sachin Kumar. He told me that it was obviously my fault because I had not mentioned in my instructions that the recipient should not be called up before delivery! I am still seething because their site clearly says that they will NOT call up recipients in order to maintain the surprise element.
They have multiple numbers listed on their website under Customer Service, but all of the numbers lead to the disgruntled Mr Sachin Kumar. Repeated calls of mine to India were intercepted by the rude Sachin who told me that he would never want me as a customer ever again and would make sure that they will never accept another order from me because I said their service was extremely pathetic.
