I had placed 2 orders for a relative’s birthday and they had to be delivered in Batala. There was no mention about any extra delivery charges or anything similar on their website. The charges are relatively high on this website and you can get similar stuff ar a lower price from other online florists and cake stores. However, not thinking much about it, I placed an order with floraindia.com.
The next day I got a mail from Pooja Sharma that my payment has been authorized. I e-mailed her Thanks and asked her to change the message on the cake. I got a reply from Manisha Singh stating that the message has been changed and I will have to pay Rs. 250 extra for the delivery. On asking the reason for the extra charge, she told me that the cake and flowers have to be delivered in Batala and which is outside the delivery limit of floraindia. I checked their website and got to know that Batala is in the delivery limit. I e-mailed the grievance cell and Manisha Singh to check their website first before e-mailing their customers. Have not received a reply from them as yet. To my surprise, the order was cancelled(I did not cancel the order). The money(Rs. 1240) has been stolen by them, let alone the frustration and stress that I have gone through. Also, on chatting with one of their reps, Nitin, I was asked for the amount and when I told him about the link where there is mentioned that Batala is inside the limit of delivery cities, all Nitin said was sorry for the confusion.I presume these people have just 3 people working in the company - Nitin, Pooja and Manisha. Could be all of the names are fake and the web portal is handled by a cyber criminal.
I have all the evidence with me and request appropriate action to be taken against this fraud company. Also, to all the readers, please do not even consider sending anything via this website. There are many people who have become victims of this inept company.Please let me know if I can press some hardcore charges against these creatures
