Placed an order for a cake and a flower bouquet for my parents anniversary.Checked with customer care if they would deliver on Sunday.he confirmed no issues.
Suggested delivery time was 08.00 to 10.00 hrs.Not delivered until 11.00 hrs.on calling customer care he informed that due to some diffculties it would be delivered by 18.00 hrs.Upset but acceptable.we are all humans.
16:30 hrs got an email indicating that it was delivered.Called up home and found that they had not received anything.called customer care who argued with me that it was.when I convinced him he said he will check out.he called back after 30 mins and said that the order was delivered to a wrong address by the delivery boy and he would refund the money.
Anniversary surprise down the drain and terribly embarrassed.
Terrible customer care who argued with me when I wrongly mentioned that the current time in India is 08.00 pm instead of 7:15 pm.His reply."Sir 45 mins is a big difference if you dont know".
poor guy.if he was so concerned on time he didnt understand that 8 hrs delay and that too to a wrong address is an even bigger difference.
