I had some excellent service from floraindia for a while, but lately I have almost stopped using them. I mostly send cakes for birthdays or anniversaries, and lately everyone of the recipients has complained that the cake they received was mangled, literally as if someone had hacked it, and once someone said that their cake tasted stale and old.
I wanted to update my review so that it reflects the latest state of service, and hope it helps fellow users and also reaches the floraindia management so that they can take corrective action.

I wanted to send my wife my first valentine’s surprise in Bilaspur(CG), and was looking all over the internet to find the right service for such a not-so-major-city. I read several online reviews for all the sites and was taken aback by the bad/no reviews that every site had, even for metropolitan cities.
I began to retract my idea completely, but then thought I should at least try it out.After a lot of research and analysis, I narrowed down to floraindia.com. The reason was that they had a lot of reviews(a few of them good, mostly bad) as that indicated wide usage and an established name. Also, there is always a bias in product reviews since happy customers will rarely come online and speak their heart out whereas disappointed ones will look for ways to vent their feelings.
Most other sites had only bad reviews(so risky) or no reviews(relatively new to the business) or very old good/bad reviews(meaning no bad experiences recently, but can’t say for sure). Nonetheless, I chose floraindia.com very warily and half expected a bad product being delivered or failure to deliver on time, as was written in reviews for all such gifting sites.But boy-o-boy, I was so happy to see her surprised look when she received a perfect black forest cake(thanks to the local delivery team and bakers) and a fresh rose bouquet, with a cute little teddy, all this on the exact date that I asked for it to be delivered.
I would really like to applaud the floraindia team for its logistics arrangements, friendly service and the importance they attach to these emotional affairs. Thanks for making this such a memorable first valentine’s day for me and my wife. I would definitely use them again, and recommend it to friends and family.Lastly, I wanted to write this review just so that there are at least a few good reviews from happy customers amongst the sea of bad ones from dejected customers.
