Five years back I have not heard of Florshiem. For that matter no other brand than Bata and Liberty. And always bought non branded shoes. Ha! my papa gifted me Puma shoes when I was in 8th std and had good memories. they were really comfortable, really expensive and I am in village that time, so none of my friend has this type of shoes.
Now I am earning and went through those shiny magzines. Thus come to know about branded shoes and Florshiem. Heard that Florshiem is expensive but comfortable.
Till date I have bought shoes upto 1500/- but Florshiem range stars from 4000/-. I could not made my mind. Twice gone to shop and selected, but dared not to buy. Any how shoe is shoe, you cann’t wear it on your head. It goes to your foot only. I believe in’value for money’ but ready to pay extra for quality.’kida’(marathi for worm) in my head is moving and what an excuse:) I bought Florshiem this Diwali instead of New Cloths.
It is Bailey model, seude and two tone coloured. Mine is green. I liked it very much. Love at First Sight. It is for 4295/-.
What I Liked about it?
It is super comfortable. It is lightweight. It snuglly fits my foot. When I walk, it feels I am driving in highly cushioned shoes. Even you wear it whole day, you will not fill that you are wearing the shoes.
When I put on the shoes, my shoes are cut shoes, I glide my foot through it. Little explanation about it. Generally we put on our shoes by putting one finger at hind end and pushing our foot. Sometimes we try to put it directly, but what happens the ridge at hind end bends and our shoes become chappel. But in this Florshiem after six months, it does not show any that kind of signs.
What care I take?
Though they are genuine leather, I didn’t wear them for rough-tough use. I use it every day, but for my office, not on week days. When I go on bike I avoid changing gear with toe. I avoid it from water.
What I didn’t like?
Nothing till date.
What my advise to other?
Try the shoes in shop only and BUY ONLY GOOD FITTNG SHOES only which are comfortable.You can try it in the shop only. You may have very few choices as they may not be having your size of the model that you liked. but don’t compromise. As it will not become that loose when you buy one smaller size shoes after wearing it for few days and your foot will come out, even after padding with sole, in one large size shoes.
Whould I buy Florshiem again?
Probaly Yes. If it last for two years.

I bought my shoe from Mochi at Pyramid mall in camp. Nothing particular about Mochi, just much fanfare in the mall at that time.
