N-block has come up as one of the most happening spots in CP, with a bunch of great cafe-cum-bars. Flyp is definitely an awesome addition to the list!
The decor is pretty similar to the rest of the lot, dark and seemingly casual. But there are big screens with MTV on, which add a lot to the ambience for a night out. We went there on a rainy Saturday night, and even though the place was a little quite to begin with, the DJ came in around 10 and it was completely transformed!
Its one of the best places to drink in Delhi. The drinks are super cheap and really well made, and the ambience is far better than a My Bar.
The food is decent. We ordered a Chicken tikka platter - the gharwala chicken tikka was the best, followed by black miso chicken tikka and the teen Mirch tikka was not that good. We tried an assorted bruschetta platter - there are two flavours, one with tomato and one with mushrooms. Being a mushroom lover, I preferred the latter, but overall they were slightly bland, so you could give it a miss.
We also ordered Dahi ke kebab, but had to get them changed since the dahi tasted weird. The staff was super helpful and got us Hara Bhara kebab instead, which is awesome and definitely worth trying!
The service is impeccable. Even on a bustling night, they were quick to help out with seats, orders and recommendations.
The place is very easy on the pocket, Saturday night done right costed 1200 per head - so My Bar days are now over. I am definitely going back to try out the rest of the menu and would recommend it to all!
