Well I have been in Guwahati for about 3 years now. I came to this great city to pursue my higher studies.
I remember that my first few days at hostel were gloomy and sad. I have very few friends. I dont go out much and am very lazy. So, on my first year here I was really very lovely.
I wont say that there Were no radsio stations here 3 years back. there was of course the All India Radio Station Bibidh Bharati, But Its not that happening. I wont say that its not a good radio station. Its good, and very informative, but somewhere, somehow it lacks the power to attrack the viewer. The prpgrammes are predictable and what we really need are songs, new songs, more songs.
Then like a blessing to all Guwahatians came Ooo La La 91.9 fmin the beginning of 2007. It was only the beginning. With the passing of time, three other radio stations were established - Big 92.7 fm, Gup Shup 94.3 fm and 93.5 S fm.
So, now am happy and enjoying fm radio. The only regret I have is that there are no fm stations at my home town Duliajan(not even Bibidh Bharati!)
