Most people when they get up in the mornings they are still half asleep. I know this for a fact for I am the same way. One of the first things I do is go directly to the coffee maker and start my coffee (unless the coffee maker has a timer then it is already going for me, because if I remembered I set it all up the night before, ) but when there is no timer, the first place is the coffee maker. Sometimes even before the bathroom! I know I can be that way as well.
I love my morning coffee. I love my mid-morning coffee. I love my mid-day coffee. I love my evening coffee. Yes I love coffee. And I do drink several different brands, but I always come back to one. Folgers® Mountain Grown®! Theirs is the best in my book! (Although I do like Maxwell House®.) But this review is about Folgers®.
From the Package
Folders® is 100% pure coffee. They help to wake up people every morning and have been doing so for 150 years. They expertly blend and roast Mountain Grown® beans to bring out their eye-opening aroma and rich, rewarding taste. That’s why “The best part of waking up, is Folgers in your cup.™”
This product is designed for all coffee makers. As with all coffee refrigerate after opening to help preserve flavor and aroma. Now I don’t know about you, but my coffee goes in a sealed container. I don’t like the coffee after it’s been in fridge.
This package makes 80-90 suggested strength 6 fl oz servings. (See below)
Measuring out your Coffee
Now when measuring your coffee out some people like it really strong. Well let me tell you, I DO NOT! I can’t stand strong coffee (might make you grow more hair or something…Lol.) At any rate, I only use 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons for each pot. This is not to weak or to strong, but just right for us. Some people like to measure out 3 or more tablespoons per pot.
You should follow where your taste buds leads you in measuring out your coffee. Sometimes the coffee maker packaging will have suggestions there also. Folders® recommends this:
1 serving 1tablespoon coffee
10 servings ½ measuring cups
30 servings 1 ½ measuring cups
45 servings 2 ¼ measuring cups
Now as you can see some of these measuring’s would be for large coffee makers, for instance the big stainless steel one’s that you would use for large gatherings. And I would also like to point out that if a person used some of these measures in their own coffee makers, they would for sure have some new hair grow I think.
Just remember that you have to fix your coffee the way you like it. And when people are at your house, they can drink it or not. If it is too strong, just add some hot water is all you need to do.

Cost does vary from store to store. For instance at my local Dollar Store I can get the 13oz package for 2.00. The same size at the local grocery store will cost 2.49 and up. At my local Wal-Mart the same size is 1.97. and of course the drug chains will be slighter higher. Check around because someone always has Folgers® on sale! Use those coupons too! Also come available in 1lb cans as well as 3lb cans. Check around for the best price. Sometimes it is cheaper to buy the large size cans of coffee. But when money is tight, know that the smaller packages are there. All packaging of Folgers® are red with white writing. There are also other blends available but this is the only one I ever buy! (Prices are US dollars.)
I love my coffee and it is the best way to start out the day for me. I will make half pots during the day because no one is home but me, so there is no sense in making full pots to just be thrown away. When I leave home most of the time the coffee is going with me in my travel mug. (That goes everywhere with me, just like my purse!)
I would also like to say that orange juice and milk are other great breakfast drinks as well as coffee. Drink the all!
There are lots of good coffees out there and each of you know what you like and don’t like, but if you are considering a new coffee buy Folgers® and see if you like them.
I hope this has helped in some kind of way.
God Bless!
