The ambience at the Food Station Restaurant catches on to you the first time you step in. The colors are in orange and white, the tables are laid out along the wall, with large windows gives you the ambience of traveling in a train. The illusions. The choice of food is not varied, but the culinary skills are good. The a la carte offers an assortment of european, mexican, north and south indian and chinese fares.
The place is clean, food well cooked, and the service friendly. That said, they could have improved on a few other counts: more varieties on the menu, in addition to the usual fares of pasta and stroganoffs, dal makhnis and chilli chickens. Notably, you cannot get any item on mutton in this restaurant, presumably because people may not trust what meat they are given on a restaurant!
The music is usually on the louder side, particularly at night, when one expects quiet dinners, and during the rush hours. Overall, Ill probably go to Food Station when I am in a mood for quick bites. Id reserve the mood for sit-down dinners for somewhere else.
