Foodpanda is the worst site for online food ordering. I use foodpanda and other websites such as zomato and tinyown etc also, so I know the difference between them.
Being a Chartered accountant student I have sound knowledge of indirect taxes prevailing in india. There is certain minimum limit for charging VAT and service tax on food bill. So, some small restaurant dont charge taxes on their bill neither they collect.
But foodpanda collects taxes on behalf of these restaurants, but, if u see original bill of these restaurant they are not charging any tax.
Which means foodpanda is cheating with people and looting taxes from customers which I think they dont pay to govt as well.
