I had ordered a cake for my birthday. My children were excitedly awaiting its arrival. Ordered at 9- delivered at almost 11.30.
Two calls inbetween to ask if I could change my order, as the "paid for and confirmed order" was not available. Had to pay more for the second time and the third time it was even costlier but I insisted I did not want to pay again so I got a "discount" Initial order was for a cheesecake, and I ended up paying 830 for three layers of 1" cream and a total of about 1" of cake - not even pastry. Sickeningly sweet, grossly overpriced and delivered late. No birthday message, not even a branded box. Is this the biggest hoax running?
Contacted customer care - no telephone, just a chat. wasted almost an hour with a staff who was obviously using pre-prepared scripts and apologies, no resolution whatsoever. Oh yes, Rs. 100 discount on my next "order" Shameful and pathetic, I hope this is not the standard with you cos Foodpanda is wasting so much money on nice advertisements instead of focusing on decent service instead!
