Ordered food at 8:43 PM. Got confirmation that food will be delivered in 40min. At 9:40 follow-up with restaurant was done as food was not delivered. Their feedback was, "Delivery will happen in 5min. The delivery boy is out with the order".
Since they can’t confirm order details, called foodpanda. They conferenced with the restaurant - after lot of questions, the restaurant confirmed they haven’t received foodpanda order. The owner was also conferenced-in & then promised delivery in another 30min. I got my order at 11 in the night and had to be thrown in the dustbin.
The above issue mostly might have been with restaurant. But foodpanda did nothing to ensure order confirmation & delivery. they are happy with the money made in between. I’m very annoyed because they won’t publish my feedback in their site about that restaurant & that incident.
Since food delivery has to be prompt - its better to call justdial & order directly from the restaurant. You have good chance of getting same or better deal as well.
