You all know from my other review on The food television Network that its one of my favorite channels, so when I first logged on to their website, FoodTV.com, I was really surprised to find not only every single recipe, from each and every TV show, but so much more.
There is a TV guide listing the day and time of each show for the upcoming week and what each show will be about.(Handy to know)
They have interviews with celebrity chefs and special recipes from them too.
There are ideas for holiday party planning , with recipes and decorating ideas.
Another topic they explore is wine. Which wine goes with which food.(Thats a good place for me to look, I have no ideas about which wines to serve.)
FoodTV.com also has chatrooms and forums about everything you ever wanted to know about food!
I also found a category called Escapes, which explores different foods from different cultures all around the world.
You can even go into The Marketplace and purchase all the ingredients and utensils used on the shows, as well as the pots and pans and small appliances the chefs use.
There are contests to enter and even a fat and calorie counter to check out.
What I liked also was the section devoted to different cookbooks. Every chef youve ever heard of (naturally) has a cookbook (or 2 or 3 or 4) for sale right on this site.
Over all, I think this site enhances the TV channel. It adds more than just recipes, which I thought it would be.
Check it out if you like food and/or cooking. Youll thoroughly enjoy it.
