Ecosport around 3 lac cheaper than it’s competitors for features it offers, hence makes very attractive value for money case.
I own Petrol Automatic Titanium+ edition.
On road mileage of this car is 7kmpl. During sales I was told that it’s between 12-14. When I saw it’s low after first few drives, ford told me that it will improve after first service. However service folks told me that it won’t and I should expect it to be same going forward.
Also suspension of car is set to be very stiff. All small potholes are faithfully passed on to the passengers. I can take my expecting wife on drive in this car as it’s too bumpy for her and using my spare nano for it. Ford service guys told me that it’s known issue with ecosport.(Well I didn’t knew it and seems like even Ford makers don’t know it).
Looks and features are good. Android auto is a bit annoying but it’s not Ford’s fault.
After market sale value is very low due to poor brand perception. I wanted to sale it due to these issues however offer I got is 9 lac for 13.5 lac on road car. Depreciation of 4.5 lac in 2 months:-).
So if you are in your 20s when you don’t mind the bumpy ride and your father pays for petrol, go for it.
