Ecosport around 3 lac cheaper than its competitors for features it offers, hence makes very attractive value for money case.
I own Petrol Automatic Titanium+ edition.
On road mileage of this car is 7kmpl. During sales I was told that its between 12-14. When I saw its low after first few drives, ford told me that it will improve after first service. However service folks told me that it wont and I should expect it to be same going forward.
Also suspension of car is set to be very stiff. All small potholes are faithfully passed on to the passengers. I can take my expecting wife on drive in this car as its too bumpy for her and using my spare nano for it. Ford service guys told me that its known issue with ecosport.(Well I didnt knew it and seems like even Ford makers dont know it).
Looks and features are good. Android auto is a bit annoying but its not Fords fault.
After market sale value is very low due to poor brand perception. I wanted to sale it due to these issues however offer I got is 9 lac for 13.5 lac on road car. Depreciation of 4.5 lac in 2 months:-).
So if you are in your 20s when you dont mind the bumpy ride and your father pays for petrol, go for it.
