My Ecosport is 4 months old and have done 2000 kms in Mumbai. The main issue that I face is the mileage which is just about 11.5 km/l in city and 12.5 kms/l in highway. This is when I drive very consciously.
Second issue is that the a/c suddenly starts throwing out hot air and I have to shut off and open the ac a couple of time for it to start cooling again. I have brought this to the notice during the first service but the situation has not improved.
The delivery of the vehicle was far from satisfactory. the people at the showroom wanted me to sign the documents without even showing the vehicle and when I insisted, they showed me the vehicle and it was so unclean. The hand rest had become black. It had 149 kms on its odo and when asked they gave me some explanation of having to drive it from Panvel or somewhere etc. I had no choice but to take it. the callousness with which they delivered the vehicle was irritating.
Don’t know if Ford checks these things or maybe forgot it in the euphoria of Ecosport success.
