Today I would like to write more on after sales service and dealer satisfaction of customer of ford and all other company....for that I m comparing dealers of Ahmadabad of all company as Ahmadabad is now metro city and each and every company has their dealers over here and I also aware of market here.
Since on diwali I have planning to buy good sedan so since last 2-3 months I m in search of one good car, I have shortlisted aveo, fiesta, SX4, indigo, logan and verna
FORD : there were 2 dealers of ford here in ahmedabad , ocenicford and cargo ford, of them ocenic has just made his new showroom before 1 year and recently since 3 moths cargo ford was established and today I read ocenic ford is closed by somehow, and since ford has launched his cars in india more than 5 dealer changed and now only cargo ford is there to sell ford vehicles, now my thinking is I know fiesta is very good car in all aspects more than SX4 I think but how can I trust such a company for aftersales whose dealers changes yearly every 1 or 2 and I know monopoly of single dealer as one of my friend who is working in ford told me because of low no. of units sell ford dealers main tartget is on repairing work to earn money so once your warranty completed in every service you will b charged not less than 5 figure rs. and its true, so as everyone knows ford is in ever higher loss since its establishment in around 1900. so I think there strategy of chaning dealer doesnt support company.

HYUNDAI : SHARMA, CONCEPT AND PLANET ....IN HYUNDAI since launch new dealer added but
not a single terminated.
general motors : SAME AS FORD STORY 4-5 DEALERS CHANGED SINCE LAUNCH NOW ONLY
SINGLE DEALER GALLOPS MOTORS , /.....SO MONOPOLY
MAHINDRA : ONLY 2 DEALER AND SINCE LOGAN IS NEW SO MAHINDRA BETTER NOT TO
COMPARE.
FIAT : THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF INDIAN CAR INDUSTRY , ONCE THIS COMPANY HAD
RULED OVER INDIAN ROADS WITH ONLY 1-2 MODELS FOR 40 YEARS ...BUT BUT
SINCE MARUTI ENTERED ....RESULT WE CAN SEE ....FIAT IS STILL STRUGGLING
TO OCCUPY SOME PERCENTAGE OF SHARE IN CAR INDUSTRY BESIDES WE
KNOW ITS QUALITY IS SUPERIOR THAN MARUTI AND TATA....FOR EXAMPLE
THE SUCCESFUL SWIFT DIESEL ENGINE IS LICENCED FROM FIAT AND YOU
CAN SEE DEALER SUPPORT NETWORK OF MARUTI HAS MADE SUCCESFUL..
TODAY MANY PEOPLE ARGUED THAT NOW FIAT STILE IS MARKETED BY TATA
SO NOW ITS NO PROBLEM FOR AFTER SALES BUT MY FRIENDS THE FIAT CARS
ARE ONLY MARKETED BY CARGO TATA NOT ANY OTHER TATA DEALER AND
MARKETING IS ONLY LIMITED TO PALIO RANGE...ONE OF MY FRIEND HAVE
FIAT PETRA AND HE HAS VISITED TATA FOR SEVICE BUT TATA DENIED
BECAUSE FIAT PETRA IS NOT UNDER CONTRACT FOR TATA....SO FRIENDS
FOR FIAT CARS ITS STILL CRUCIAL TO GET SERVICE AS YOU ALL AWARE
IN INDIA MONEY IS MORE MATTER AND GOD KNOWS ON WHICH DAY
CONTRACT WILL BRAKE THEN WHOS THE FATHER OF ALL FIAT CARS
