I am a FORD FIGO 1.4 ZXI TDCI user from past 4.5 years. I am very happy customer till date as I see no complaints till date from day 1. I hear many of them saying Diesel cars need more maintenance but I have drove the car for 50000 Kms till date and did not spend a rupee on Maintenance except the Service charges. I still feel that FORD can work on this CAR to make it the best and here goes my review.
PROs:
Economical price range.
Best price premium car in this segment.
I get a Mileage of 16.5 in City and 20-21 Kms on High ways.
Classy looks from exterior
Seating capacity is Good at rear as we have enough leg room.
Boot space is 284 litres which is best in this segment cars
Cons:
Steering is not telescopic.
Seat height adjustment is a problem
Rusting across the Body exterior specially above Door handles
Ground clearance is less and easily hits the breakers when fully loaded.
Suspension is poor and we can feel that when taking a curve or driving on bumpy road.
Tyres are very small as a result skidding chances are high
Bolts of the tyre are very weak and will break easily while removing the tire with extractor given by company. Even professional failed to remove with the one provided with. They have to use a supporting extractor to remove Bolts of tire which is hell when our tire is punctured.
