Before buying Ford figo I used to search all the websites whether to buy figo or not. After so much confusion finally I chose Figo EXI diesel. on road price in Bangalore was 5.88 lacs in april 2010.I’m writing this review, Whoever wants to buy this car should not get confused whether to buy figo or not. My suggestion is close your eyes and buy this car. Initially I thought of buying ritz or swift.
I don’t like ritz, because of its shape, no boot space, less comfort and poor quality dashboard.Swift is a very good car, but only drawback is time taken to deliver the vehicle. Figo overcomes these issues. I have seen in some blogs they have mentioned figo is giving less millage. Its bogus. In city you will get around 15 kms with AC. I used to drive long distance, in four lane I used to get around 21kms per litre. Even if you drive with another person, to and fro charges will be same as omni bus charges. Figo is having superb boot space, you can keep hell lot of things in this. More than enough for four members family.
Apart from this figo is having a nice Kenwood set with superb stereo effect and good inner space.sorry I forgot to mention the main point that is AC. One of the powerful AC figo has, I’m sure no one can say I don’t like figo AC. Night lamp is ok and manageable. You will be having lot of spaces in the door to keep bottles and other things. Car has small steering and it will be easy to drive. powerful disc brakes and tubeless tyres which gives you confident on highways. I bought this car in Lathangi ford bannerghatta road Bangalore, best example for the car dealers on how to treat customers. Fabulous service and amazing response.
If I have money, i’ll buy my second car in the same showroom:). About car drawbacks, it has low ground clearance, sometimes speed breaker will hit his belly and used to it. It has Good powerful engine but pick will be little late compared to swift, but in city anyway it;s not needed at all.
Overall it is a wonderful car. You don’t need to worry about the service, now a days ford is manufacturing its spare parts in chennai, so it is not much costlier and you will get the spare parts all over india. Enjoy FIGO, hope lot of people will buy this car and write good reviews like me.
