I was buying my second car, I was actually looking for a good car in the city, I tried the swift, but it wasn’t too swift to take off from the traffic lights, then I looked into the getz, but nahh its a hyundai.. the fusion never even came to my mind actually (thanks to the poor marketing by Ford!!) but I was driving down the highway at around 130kmph (which happens very rarely) I was overtaken by this thing!! a silver car with a ford badge.. I was like, wat the f&%k.. am driving a V6 camry and am being overtaken??? so I catch up to this car and look closely and its a fusion.. bought it in a couple of weeks.. they gave me loads of offers!!! yay!!
Then it kinda took over the camry and now the fusion is my first car.It’s a nice ride.. quite powerful, stable, good to stay on low profile (its like the car is invisible), excellent suspension (forget going for sheel alignment check ups) but DO NOT try off roading.. its a CAR not a jeep!!! (even though it tried hard to look like one) its actually based on the fiesta platform so it performs exactly like a car.. that explains the road grip and the stability!! ahh the headlights.. u’ve gotta upgrade the bulbs to 90/100 old ones not so bright.. another thing.. is there anyway you can reduce the noise levels inside the car?? not the engine but I can literally hear every grain of sand hitting the under body when I drive on gravel or on a beachroad!!! now thats annoying when you and ur girlfriend are rolling very slowly in the third gear with your foot off the throttle and she goes "hey you need better carpets for your car man.. its noisy!!".. well I know its a cheap car and av got all I can get for the money i’ve paid.. but thoda sa aur... and then comes the service..
Seriously what in the world do they do with the car for 2 days??? sing to it??? my car has done 45000 and its rattling like a tractor in there!!! they sereiously need to think of a indian service schedule.. this car is actually made for the UK.. I KNOW THAT!! and they follow the exact service schedule of the UK converted in kms.. am dead sure.. they dont tighten any nuts and bolts in the car!!!!! last night I was racing with a dude in a honda city and I was cornering and I alomost fee loff the seat!!! the seat belt saved my a... the bolt holding the cusion thing to the frame came off!! the stopper of the drivers door is almost hanging...i cud tighten it.. yes I cud if the screws were normal!! the sre not flats, not stars but some wierd shaped ones.. but watever, I won the race.. 100 BHP haha.. hey a lil tip to increase some power!! change the airfilter aembly to a free flow type cold air intake one... its a totally different fitment, with teh steel pipe and blue filter and stuff.. looks cool too.. nyway av gotta sum up.. its a very very nice car.. buy it!! 6.25 lacs and you’ll be in peace for the next 100, 000 kms..hey dont forget the regular services!!!! cheers.. drive safe people!!!
