I wrote a post on Nov, 27 when I test drove the IKON, finally after 2months of wait I got it delivered. as SBI people delayed the loan process too much.Had to be very patient all this while.During test drive I was impressed by the driveability and handling of the car and had booked it for those reason. But during this 2 months I has having doubt that if Indigo CS with reduced price and more features have been a better option, but later realised IKON is still looked upon as a status symbol and a costly car to own, though things have changed. I was kind of happy I booked the car.
Now for the details.
I booked Thunder color but later changed it and took delivery of Platinum color.It looks good.The central locking , all power windows and freshened interiors give u agood feel of owning the car.As the car is new, the doors are still tight to open and it takes more than a little push to open it. Though I coudn’t c this during the test drive, but when I alight from the car, my left leg gets blocked by the steering, if anyone can tell me how to tackle this. as I am 5feet10inch.
Driving till now has been a pleasure, the car looks good with fog lamps infront, have got used to the indicators control on left of steering, A/c works pretty cool even at level 1, and I tell u my hands get chilled if I keep it on for more than 5 minutes. Have driven just 50km till now..
