Hospital doctor’s top most priority is to loot as much money from patients as possible. They are least bothered about the patients health.
After getting dengue virus, I was visiting Dr DS Chadda at fortis hospital, vasant kunj. After 10-12 days when I got fine, I requested him through his assistant deepa to prescribe a 7 days bed rest. I needed it to apply for leaves in my office. But the unethical doctor forced me to first pay consultation fees of Rs 1000 and then wait for my turn to see him, only to sign on the bed rest certificate which his attendant had filled. I was perfectly fine, I didn’t need any doctor’s advice, then too I was forced to pay for consultation fees and wait for my turn.
A hospital and its doctors should not treat its regular patients like this. I had already spent around Rs 6000 during my two visits at Fortis for Vasant Kunj, even then he forced me to pay for consultation unnecessarily, just to sign on a bed rest certificate. 7 days bed rest is nominal in diseases like dengue.
