Terrific beer. Very tasty and tastes best on a hot summer morning, but can be consumed at any time.
Great ads and promotions. The connection with Australia and its habit of tough, no-nonsense people and their favorite relaxation of drinking beer is what makes Foster’s popular in India. Foster’s may not be the largest selling beer in Australia, but the image it has built up in India is that it is the very symbol of Australia.
Premium positioning in India, which is not-so-good news for beer drinkers like me because it is relatively expensive. But actually worth the extra bit.
In my rating, Foster’s is next only to UB Export, which I rate as the best beer available in India.
