Fosters Very UnAustralian!!

G’day Everbody!! Well As we say in australia..no mucking around ..But I will come straight to the point !!..ASK your anyday average aussie on the road and the chances are ... 3 out of five wouldnt know the brand fosters in australia.... cause it simply isn’t that well known a beer over here in australia.

It is a bit popular in melbourne but still on A very low level...Go to any other Australian state like Victoria, Western australia, brisbane, tasmania... sydney.. and u might find just a handful of people who are actually aware of a brand called fosters...The popular working bloke’s beer is Victoria bitter... You average everyday aussie turning the sausages at the barbie can be often seen sippin on a victoria bitter or perhaps even a emu bitter.

Now these beers are beers that u need to get used to and take in the flavors... cause a first timer would say ..Woah this beer is bitter and not very palatable... but there lies the magic of the beer Only those who dare...Ultimately learns the real taste of this beer.. as it needs to grow on ya! The real good stuff ..ask any aussie and they most probaly will name Crown lager or cascade premium..It is very common if you mates dropping by or if you are having a brabie to got the Bottle shop and chuck a slab (20 Cans or bottles) or a carton(24 or 30 cans/bottles) of beer on ya shoulders and head home!

Some trivia on aussie beers

Cascade Premium :Full flavoured beer with a crisp finish. Victoria Bitter : A little sweeter on the palate than the other Carlton beers with a less malty character and a clean, hop bitterness in the finish.

Carlton Midstrength : Refreshing mid strength beer with special double hopped process.

Foster Lager : An Australian beer established as an international product. A lighter-style larger with a malty character noted for its drinkability.

Redback : Rich thick creamy head, brilliant deep golden colour, appetizing hop and malt aroma. Full on the palate south German wheat-style beer.

My choice of beers to name a few are Crownie’s (crown lager), Cascade( a tasmanian beer), Corona (a mexican beer ..quite good), and victoria bitter ( the bottle shape is beaut ) But when I am visiting the local pub or casino its gotta be draught mate...sunter up to the bar and order a pint or middy straight from tap.

Well anyway ya’ll havve a good one!! And cheers to you Dudes!!
