Very nice indeed

The TV advert makes you believe that drinking Fosters Lager will give you the will to see the advantages in any situation. WRONG! Drinking Fosters makes you feel good; drinking more Fosters makes you fall over and drinking even more Fosters makes you feel bad. But, that is no different to any other lager, so what is different with Fosters?

Fosters is a clear, smooth lager that always seems to be consistent in its taste. When I was younger I know that I would have preferred a stronger drink, as the objective during my student days would always be to arrive at the state of drunkenness as quickly as possible. Now that I am a bit older I don’t have so many drinking nights out (in fact fairly rarely) so it does not take too many drinks before the alcohol is taking effect. Fosters fits the requirements just right. It is a nice easy lager to drink that is not too gassy and has a good smooth taste.

In the morning, the after effects from drinking Fosters are not too bad at all.

BUT, I do not like canned Fosters. This drink hardly bares any resemblance to the draught lager at all. From the cans the drink appears weak, bitter and very, very gassy. It is tempting to buy cans of Fosters for when you are having a Summer barbecue, but after a couple of cans you feel so bloated that it spoils the food for you.

Draught Fosters Lager suits me fine for when I do go out for a drink, but I do avoid the canned lager. I haven’t started chasing kangaroos yet, but I think the Australians have got a winner with this drink.
