Apart from the beautiful book by Ann Rand, I also saw the movie, which was produced sometime in the 1940s.
It was a black and white classic and the role of Howard Roak, was masterfully portaited by the Academy Award Winner, Gary Cooper. I had seen the movie a long time back and I do not remember the other cast members, but I remember the powerful performance by Gary Cooper. Looking back, I think Gary virtually lived the role of Howard Roak and was worthy on an award.
I do not know whether he or the film actually won any award, but it is certainally worth watching. So friends, visit your VCR / VCD / DVD library and grab the movie for viewing. I assure you, your time will not be wasted.
