Whole story constructed around a young architect ’’Howard Roark’’.
He was the person who never compromised. To build anything, he required freedom from the clients. He had some conditions to work or build anything. No intrruption by the client, no money constraints. He didn’t like conventional standards and old ways to make the things. When he did anything, did from feelings. Every building, every structure made by him was different from others. He struggled to make the things different from others. Most of the architects didn’t like him even his friend who was the great architect. But finally Howard find his destiny and Dominique.
Dominique was a beautiful and disputed lady who was responsible to change many situations in the novel. She was the famous writer of the Wynand newspaper. When Howard not admired by the architect world, he left and went to work as a labour in a remote area. In same time Dominique had went to enjoy some lonely moments their. She saw the Roark as a labour and infact she tried to entice him. In such a circumstances, she raped by Howard Roark. After that Howard got a contract and came back to city. Then Dominque know him. Before marrying to Roark, Dominique had long affair to the Roark but first she married to Peter Keating (Famous Architect and Roark friend) then Gail Wynand and finally Roark. Their was lot of situational cases. But she was the lady who played important part to finish Gail Wynand and Peter Keating.
Gail Wynand was a rich person and owner of Wynand newspaper who married with Dominique after giving a contract to Dominique’s previous husband Keating.
This is the novel which explained the human ego to defeat and gain from other’s work, intensity, and madness for work. All characters was disputed. If you read this novel, you will find the real human word and inside story. It will teach you for your ambition.
