Heard of this famous comedy for ages, maybe because Hugh Grant’s playboy’s image biased me, I didn’t want to have a glance of this movie. I got loads of pressure in doing coursework due to deadline it’s coming. In spite of pressure and headache, I went to the languages learning center to search for a good movie. Only this DVD was available, watched it.

My thoughts
I enjoyed this movie. But don’t know why the most incredibly thing is an ordinary looking actor impressed me a lot, Matthew played by John Hannah, this guy, nobody notices him till Gareth’s funeral. As he was Gareth’s closest friend, he was asked to give a speech on Gareth’s funeral. He said:” Gareth used to preferred funerals to weddings…” that was an unforgettable speech, you should see the film to find out whether you agree with me. Dialogues are sharp and interesting. Various characters are created vividly. Huge Grant creates the role he does best.
It is a romantic comedy. The movie conveys a fine wish that everyone will find his/her true love and has splendid life.
