Freaky Ali has a literally freaky storyline ( lifted from another Hollywood comedy) stretched to an unpalatable length. If it is a rags-to-riches story, the scenes are too frothy. If it is a rib-tickler, the laughter is missing. You cannot bank on a single actor make an ill-made caricaturist film run.
If pendding undergarments is a lowly job, getting into the extortion business is not commendable either. So Ali ( Nawazuddin Siddiqui) has to find the ticket to fame, wealth and respectability by swinging the golg club for which he has a natural flair. Not surprisingly, his rival in the game is the affluent & haughty Vikram Rathod ( Jas Arora) , the reiging champion. Maqsood ( Arbaaz Khan) , Alis erstwhile partner-in-crime, turns caddie. Ali must win the tournament to provide a good life for his foster mother, Sulbha ( Seema Biswas) & get the beautiful Megha ( Amy Jackson) .
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is the sole star of the show. Our own Seema Biswas also shines in the limited footage that she has. The rest of the cast is utterly forgettable.
Sajid-Wajids song lack the fizz to lift the losing film.
