Must read

It’s a most important book ever written about the history of Indian independence by two foreign authors. IT depicts the even that triggered the seperation of Inida and Pakistan, and most importantly talks about the warrior of non violence and his role played to drive British out.

The book portrays  the chivalrous life style of then British Viceroys and Indian kings, the  gruesome slaughtering between two communities(Hindu and Muslim), how Jinna, who actually never wanted partition was forced by the Hindu community in Congress to go for a separate nation.

This book should have been a "Text Book" for us. The authors have written this after  a thorough research. This book presents the harsh truth of history unlike our school books in which truths were tampered and presented to serve the interest of the politicians.
