The one with F.r.i.e.n.d.s.

F.r.i.e.n.d.s.

guess this should be root cause for ’The truman show’. What was started as a casual viewing to me once changed my whole viewing of sitcoms.. now I see the series in CDs no matter if I had seen it actaully 50 times.

here it goes..the main success of such a decade-long-series is definetely the main characters, the way they grow, they really grow in you. In real life; sometimes you start living with them, and you see or hope to see real Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, Ross to such an extent that finally you cry, laugh and share not with your friends but f.r.i.e.nd.s.

.

Rachel: so natural in delivery of dialogues...and sometimes we this such characters quite often just next door. While Rachel is little unorganised and messy, just opposite to Monica, Jennifer’s natural and perfect dialogue delivery takes the whole screen presence, wow! Best: TOW all the resolutions:Rachel says to Joey who knows that Mon and Chandler are going around :: All right, how about I go over there and I will walk into Chandler’s bedroom and I will see that thing that I think that I know is actually the thing that I think that I know! ’’

Monica: many girls would be dying to be like Monica. Yet-undivorced parents, research-savvy brother, best friend in the same room, most of all a perfect husband who says ’’Yes’’ to all... somehow forced to though. She reflects the mentality of many figure conscious ladies to the core. Nothing more could have been asked.

Phoebe: She is wacky. She is pure. She sees only good things in others which is quite rare too, yet she is natural. Her punches make viewers to enjoy. While with other its expected when to laugh, she is goes unexpected way and the punch lasts long. Though personally I feel she isnt given much of footage in screen, may thats why she is very special. The most natural wittiest of all, sees only good thing in others. She and her dead mom story, her twin sis Ursala from another sitcom ’’ Mad about you’’, her stupid comments, you will ask for more.

Joey: ’’how ya doing?’’ Easy on girls, so tuff on work. More food, less intelligence, but he is caring and warm especially the way he treats Chandler and to some extent Rachel. You wish sometimes why dont he gets Rachel instead of Ross, beleive me half of North Amerca is carving for this pair to work out, but somehow the writers knew this unseen chemistry and showed little sign of togetherness n not so in the next episode. This technique worked too well.

Chandler: The character which makes living by making fun of all the rest. So much is about his guestures and bodylanguages that he could have got away with no dialogues at all. Of all the male characters, this is the most envious character any girl would ask for. More professional, independent, caring, though just opposite to Joey, their friendship is ’neat’ and his delivery of dialogues is second best next to Jennifer.

Ross: The man who says ’’Rachel’’ instead of ’’Emily’’ at the altar, the man who envies Joey especially when he takes out condoms, (episode where Rachel says she is pregnant), the man who could carry three failed marriages and man who could kiss Jennifer, all in one.And thats Ross. David is the only one who didnt change much physically across episodes and Matthew Perry is just the other way. His famous quote being ’’It’s a job -- someone’s gotta do it.’’; sure David we understand how difficult for you to kiss ’’Jennifer’’.

O-H M-Y G-O-D

About the guest appearance, Bruce Willis, episode is the best. Sean Penn, Brad Pitt to include few more. The only TV serial where the movie artists line up for giving a guest appearance, so much for Friends. Some friends of mine call me ’friends addict’ but when they had to see because of me.. it did happen that they become one.

for ppl looking for actual lyrics of this song:

So no one told you life was gonna be this way

Your job’s a joke, you’re broke, your love life’s DOA

It’s like you’re always stuck in second gear,

When it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month, or even your year, but...

I’ll be there for you...

When the rain starts to pour

I’ll be there for you...

Like I’ve been there before

I’ll be there for you...

’Cause you’re there for me too.

Final verdict. 5 star... if u cant give for this.. what else would you give for?
