I started watching Friends when I was 10 and even then, when my sense my humour was zero and I had no clue about what was going on in the show, I loved watching it.
As I grew up to be a teenager, I had nothing to do in the hostel, so I decided to watch friends, again. But this time, I would understand everything.
I don’t lie when I say I didn’t switch my laptop off for weeks. Yes, it had started to malfunction a little but I just couldn’t stop watching and laughing. The show is packed with humour, logic, romance, suspense and what not that keeps you glued to your seat.
The show is about 6 best friends [Ross(David Schwimmer), Rachel(Jennifer Aniston), Chandler(Matthew Perry), Phoebe(Lisa Kudrow) and Joey(Matt Le Blanc)] who hang out with each other and get into shenanigans, fall in love, build their career, etc.
As you watch it, you realize them becoming a part of your lives. Like they’re around you and you don’t need real friends. Believe me when I say this because I have watched all the 10 seasons(21 or more episodes each season) more than 5 times and have lost, I don’t know how many friends because I kept ignoring everyone.
It’s wonderful how a tv show can influence you so much in such a good way. I got to learn so much about life, so many new words, so many pronunciations of the words I’ve been saying wrong and of course, Chandler’s jokes. Now I crack them everywhere. I quote friends all the time.
This is, hands down, the best sitcom ever made. It deserves all the awards that it got. I LOVE FRIENDS. And if you say you don’t, then get ready to get buried inside the ground because I’m coming for you.
