Friends is on FOX4 at 10:30p.m. after the late local news here in Kansas City.
Most of the time it’s reruns but nevertheless, it’s always entertaining. The show is based on 3 guys and 3 girls that all live relatively close to each other. They frequent between Chandler and Joey’s apartment and Monica and Rachel’s. Ross and Phoebe live elsewhere but still within good distance.
All 6 meet regularly at a coffeehouse called Central Perk. How appropriate since they live in New York huh? Anyway, the 30-minute sitcom leads you through whatever trials and tribulations the group is having at that time in their lives. Topics range anywhere from Monica needing a date to Joey trying to get his acting career off the ground.
Each of the characters has their own little quirks that makes them individual. Monica is a neat freak, Rachel is always trying to ’’get the guy’’, Ross is the anthropologist that always likes to do the right thing, Chandler always has something sarcastic to say, Joey is an aspiring actor having a bit of bad luck and Phoebe is...well, I don’t know how to describe Phoebe. She’s a free spirit. She works at a massage parlor but she’s also very eccentric. Most of the time Phoebe is the one with a comment that will absolutely leave me laughing after the fact.
Friends also airs on KSHB Channel 41 on Thursday nights in our area. On FOX4 it’s on Monday through Saturday at 10:30p.m. as I mentioned above. If you’re in need of a good laugh then this is the show for you! There’s no nudity, no bad language and the topics are ’’daily life’’ in nature.
