Very Funnny movie
Watched fukrey returns, first time a befitting sequel to a movie. A total fun ride with above average writing and very good acting by the whole team. A lot of burden of the movie was on choocha aka varun Sharma and he did not disappointed at all. He carried that burden with the same innocence and ease as he did in the first movie. Pulkit Samrat is more composed and natural actor than before. He did a good job, never went out of the limits. Ali Fazal was understandably and sadly too underused and so the girls, who were almost nonexistent, thus cutting out emotional quotient. But Richa Chadda compensated that by her superb, composed and subtle portray of bholi. And what praise can be showered on pankaj tripathi! What a cool calm performance. Such a good actor he is. But the cherry on the cake has to be Rajiv Gupta as mantriji such a good performance very simply played yet how menacing he is. It appears that playing a neta has become his USP now. The real undertone of the film is composer and subtleness, nothing is going over the top and yet it is quiet funny. Every character is cool and chilled. Even in the confrontation scenes there is no unnecessary shouting or over the top emotion. Each and every character is likable if it is two goons of bholi; secretary to mantriji; the coin diver etc. Also to add the fact that how amazing it is that production value has increased in Indian movies in recent years. Eye for detailing, relevancy to the setting is just incredible even if nobody is going to acknowledge those small things but they are being taken care of. Overall a very good movie to watch and very true to its genre.
