I opted last week for a videocon brand sawm:-model dolphin plus vdl70pmw-7kg with multi pulsator & almost fully fibreplast make.but i regret as:
1}the width of the machine being 78 cm as against 80 /82 cm of others, squeezes the room for the spin tub, thereby making it bang the walls occasionally, with little or full load.this may also be because the spin motor is slow to pick up.
- The fibreplast wall separating both the tubs appears of a feeble make, which may crumple after 4 years or more. The power cord/ drain pipe are inadequately short and of cheap finishing.
3.The unit i got is manufacturing by kail ltd, Kolkata
Water turbulence & rigor is not enough to result in a nice cleaning, even after amply good detergent use.the clothes get twisted & entwined badly, after a wash cycle.overall, the product is cumbersome & does not give value for the price nor lives up to it’s brand name, as Videocon were the pioneers in Indian market, regarding wash machine.
After-sales service is prompt, but ridiculously of no genuine benefit as their guys speak a lot to tout their brand but do very less, and explaining your problem to them is a headache.
