Accessibility
As Kevin pointed out in his review(https://mouthshut.com/review/Fun_Cinema_-_Bangalore-160623-1.html), the accessibility to Fun Cinemas is terrible. Imagine walking all over the place to get to where the movies are playing - its terribly confusing.
Ticket Counter is in the Ground Floor!
To make things worse, imagine going up to the multiplex area only to be told that tickets are sold only in the Ground Floor parking area? That means to you need to wind your way downards only to find a huge queue waiting to get tickets.
Convenience Charge= no convenience
But theres more disappointment! I bought my ticket online, and like every multiplex, you need to pick up the cinema ticket from the ticketing area. But generally, its an electroic kiosk, you simply swipe your credit card and get your ticket issued. But not in this case! They make you stand in the queue because their electronic kiosk does not work!
And they supposedly have a line for it, where I was patiently waiting only to find out when my turn came, they decided to close the counter and asked me to join another line - so I had to go back and stand in a long queue.
I felt really frustrated - I pair Rs. 15/ticket as convenience charge and this is what I get in return. When I enquired why they charged me a convenience charge for booking online - they had no answer. They were not apologetic - to make it work - they were rude.
Movie interrupted after 1 hr - replayed!
So I settle down for the movie with my friends - we have a great time for abount an hour - when they suddenly decide its time to play the movie again from the beginning! The manager did not apologise - simply stated that since there was a glitch in the system, they needed to start from the beginning.
I find their staff terribly unprofessional and discourteous.
This incident happened on Dec 30, 2009 - 10.00 am morning show - 3 idiots.
