Regards. This is regarding Future Generali ULIP Plan. After going through the documents I was dismayed to note that what was told to me by the agent and what was reflecting on the policy details was totally the reverse. I was told that the first premium that I will pay will have 0% charges, whereas as per the policy details it shows that my entire premium (100%) has been charged.
The illustration that I have received had my signatures forged. I was never ever shown the illustration sheet prior to my receiving the policy details. Based on this, I immediately called up the agent who had explained me the policy. I was surprised to hear from him that he too was not aware about the allocation charges as this policy was introduced recently.
When confronted regarding my signatures being forged, he informed me that he was not aware about this as he was on leave.Based on all of this, I informed him that I am not willing to continue with this policy and asked him the details for cancellation. Accordingly, I handed him over the cancellation letter for which I did not receive any feed back from Future Generali in this regard. On contacting the agent, he informed me that the policy cannot be cancelled. I was infuriated on hearing this and told the agent that I am going to lodge a police compliant. After a couple of days this agent called me and informed me that he will return the money from his pocket and that please do not raise the issue. I am happy to inform that the agent actually returned money to me in cash.
I earnestly request you all, do not buy any policies from Future Generali. They are cheats.
