I received am email from

On the 13dec2007 I logged into their site and checked out


their Christmas trees. They had trees ranging from 1.5 Foot to 8 foot tall.


I settled for a 5foot tree and sent it out as a gift to a 5


yr old.


The payment was made through netbanking( so that no time


was wasted in processing this). Everything was ok and I received the order


confirmation email.


Today is 5 days into the order and so I checked tio see the


status and the do I find

1.5 FT……I am shocked. So I called their help desk


Phone: 022-40 490 490


I speak to a Mr. Prakash Verma who confirms the order is for


1.5 FT tree. Says the product is not on the site so he cannot help immediately.


I was use the article number to locate the details anyway he says he will check


and call me back in 30 mins.


No call after 40 mins.


I call them back


Am informed that there was a mistake and this has been


fixed.


However as I chase the delivery, he says there is no


guarantee of delivery but it will be there before Xmas and is being treated as


top priority.


So now I must check daily for a job I wanted over and


completed by a click.


I am very upset…


a. I have a 5yr old waiting for his tree which must go up by


the 20th….( same reason people decorate and clean up for diwali or


any other festival)


b. I have to chase his on my STD cost


What if this had been delivered, the kid would have gone through


thinking what a stupid aunt I have sending me a small tree and all this time


she is saying something bigger than me is coming. It is a gift no one would question


saying is this really what you wanted to send us.


How reliable is this site….mainly online shopping is for


gifts. Can we honestly be sure our loved ones are getting what we send them?


I emailed them thrice but did not receive any reply.
