I recently applied for birth certificate(My DOB 1983) in cooperation office at trivandrum and I needed one certificate form GG hospital. I went to GG hospital, shocked to hear the hospital was shutdown. Finally, I found a small office at another location close to hospital. I requested for the certificate and the officer charged me 100 rs without bill. He replied this is how he provided salary to concerned staff. Also, he added normally it would take 1 week time to provide certificate. After 1 week, I inquired and he replied, ’there was one marriage function and my certificate can take more time’. I said "I have appled the similar certificate at VILLAPPIL PANCHAYAT OFFICE, and they provided the certificate on the same day".
I wondered sometimes pvt organisation is becoming like Old Sarkari Office or is it a trend? Anyway, I am still running behind my certificate. I decided, not to admit my wife to forthcoming refurbished GG hospital to give birth to my child.
