Gajaali has been one of the finest restaurants comprising of a menu that serves west coastal food. I greatly savour its delicious crab in green chilli sauce. Or the solkadi at the end of every meal. So much have been said about the food in this restaurant that I need not say any more.
Although the food here is to die for, the service will definitely kill you for it!
Sunday evenings are the worst. I have seen waiters rush up the orders just so that customers finish up and make room for other customers waiting outside, suggesting bread that is quick to cook, and frowning on ordering crab/lobster (which requires its own sweet time to cook). Hell, last Sunday I even saw a maître d asking folks on my next table to hurry up because “other customers are waiting”. The man got furious and showered him with curses.
My suggestion is to order your meal at home and save yourself the suffering at the hands of Gajaali management.
