Garfield .. someone that I have grown up with.. This is the most incorrigible character that I have come across. Its a great read and time pass for teenagers... I guess...
And believe it or not I am still a fan of Garfield. I try not to miss out on the cartoon that airs on TV.
Why do I like Garfield ?
Well because he epitomizes attitude with a big A. His attitude is everything... that is what makes him so lovable..
He is Monday hating, Odie bating, Cat napping CAT. He gets away with everything. His script is very cool. So are his expressions... Garfield can make everything look very cool... thats what I dig about this naughty pussycat.. It makes you wonder what would make him tick... besides pizzas and lasagna :):)
The comics were very interesting as such but the animation is much more entertaining.. when a voice is added to the attitude and script.. it is just perfect...
John is also very lovable.. Garfield always manages to get an up over his master... and John’s perennial attempt to get girls is very humorous specially with Garfield involved...
Odie is the dog which Garfield loves to bate when he is not competing with getting one up on the postman. :) Garfield seems to love Odie but he cant resist making Odie a means to an end... Odie is very cute.. He makes everything understandable with his panting and expressions and his doggy language... he is a cute one ....
Kids must have a taste of Garfield... it makes idle time very entertaining ... If your kids are sick in the bed with flu or something.. this comic will prove very entertaining... or switch to the Garfield show.. you will not regret it... your little one will forget that he/she is down with a bug ... :):)
If you have nothing to do with kids, you yourself can have a look at the comics when you are feeling bored or depressed... it will definitely perk you up !!!!
