I travelled on **Jammu Tawi Garib Rath** on 19-06-09 from Delhi To Jammu. To my experience the journey was uncomfortable. As there was no other train available suiting my timings I have booked on this train in Tatkal quota. The bearts are cramped, just for the sake of naming it Garib Rath Indian Railway is forcing people to travel like animals even though they pay the same price as of other trains. The train is fully airconditioned, with no one really Garib inside but still they force people to have less facilities just for the name sake.
They charge Rs. 25/ - per person for providing Bedsheet, Blanket & Pillow. Moreover there is no sufficient availability of these matterials & it is upto ur luck to get one. During the journey the train ran out of water. There was no announcement of plantform or any display for the same. The train started late and halted at almost all stations.
Looking at the price that one pays, I would suggest to go by other trains than Garib Rath. If you travel with family (Ladies, Old people or Kids) it is advisable not to go by this Train. Hope this helps you all & saves your journey from **Garib Rath**.
