The attention we give to dead cells is phenomenal. Add to it our paranoia at losing any of them... err... isnt it supposed to be good to lose something thats dead... I guess not for hair.
Frizzy hair is perhaps the worst one can have because it refuses to just stay. It looks bad and damaged even if its pretty high-quality. So this is where the conditioner comes in. (conditioners are good for all kinds of hair but since Im quoting my experience so lets stick to frizzy hair)
Garnier launched their new Fructis range with quite a market campaign hoping to rope in the hair-conscious promising shinier, stronger, healthier hair. Did they live up to it?
Product: Garnier Fructis Fortifying cream conditioner
Cost: Rs 65
Quantity: 100 ml
Description: For dry or damaged hair
First things first
Conditoners arent supposed to be capable of changing the natural texture of your hair. However they are supposed to provide some nourishment or atleast form a protective sheath around the strands. The general procedure being that you apply the conditioner along the length of your hair for around a minute and then wash off.
It smells like..
A sour n kinduv sweet fruit. Pardon my unbelievably poor olfactory sense :) But it smells fruity and fresh for sure.
It looks like..
Its white and has a reasonably think consistency. Pretty much like any other conditioner, maybe a wee bit thicker.
It works like..
Any other conditioner. Its smoother, eay to apply and washes off easily. The promised increase in strength is something I might be able to vouch for since I have seen some improvement. Shedding of hair is not something it promises against so lets not go there. About the shine well pretty much like any other conditioner.
Points Id give it next to the other high-end conditioners available in the market
Shine = (more or less the same)
Strength +1.5
Smell =
De-tangling +1
Expect..
Reasonable improvement in strength but not so much in the shine department. Good thing is you dont have to use too much of it, thats a boon for people with long hair like mine. But the frizziness hasnt gone anywhere.
Verdict..
A shade and a half better than the others, its no miracle. Dont expect it to be.
