PLEASE BE AWARE OF THEM - they are they are thieves and goons.
It is the worst experience I ever had with any service provider. I had to shift my stuff from Delhi to Chennai in December 2017.
Like any other middle class person I took quote from various service providers one of which was GATI.
First of all people from https://gatipackersandmovers.com/ misrepresent them selves as representatives of https://gati.com/ and that is how they trap you. People who came for survey seemed to be polished. Till the time they load your stuff every thing is good. They will do what ever you tell them to, they will even double pack the stuff if you tell them to.
Once I reached Chennai and asked for my stuff to be delivered at a particular address, that is when the drama starts. There Delhi office told me to speak to there local office. Once I called the local office, I was informed that I have to pay INR 3000/- extra fro stuff to be delivered and that too this money was to be transferred into the personal account [NO RECEIPT FOR THIS PAYMENT].
I refused to make this payment and called there Delhi office, who revised INR 3000/- to INR 5000/- and I was told either I pay the money or forget about my stuff. This drama continued atleast for 10 days and I had not option but to pay the money to get my stuff. These people are goons and not service providers.
