I hope that MNC’s doing business in India knows that quite a percentage of us are middle class. We are a set of people who dream to buy a home but forget that there is a class of people to shatter your dreams.
I want to share my experience with one of such non professional in finance market i.e. GE Money. The problem started when I got a deal for a beautiful dream of mine to buy a home in Delhi. I was introduced to a sales agent of GE Money as I needed some amount to be financed from a financial organization. As expected, a path that was no more than a cakewalk was discussed with me. I was told to submit few documents and the over enthusiastic sales agent started filling colors to my dreams with no scope of any glitch. I collected all the documents as required and submitted with the sales agent. I was told that the processing has started and we will get the payment on due date.
Things were going perfect and there was no point of having any doubt on GE Money. Then came the day, when I was scheduled to get the money from bank and I was supposed to proceed with legal formalities. GE Money came with a pitcher of back color to fill in my dreams and life. I was conveyed that the application has been rejected.
Ohh… a severe shock for me and my family. Lots of hues and cries. A single word from GE Money… I am sorry. That was not enough. I was told that they will get the things done in a week. It was tough for me to believe these guys who were not able to tell me the reality in last 3 months and now damn confident of getting the things done in a week. But beggars are not choosers. I accepted the offer again and requested my property owner to give me a week. But to the height of my surprise, these stop picking up my phone after that.
I am still in dilemma in the situation.
What should I do?
Whom do I contact?
Is this the professionalism?
Guys please don’t go to GE money. This is my only advice.
We work in professional environments and thus have the expectations from these companies to reflect the same. But at least GE Money people have not read about professionalism and commitment.
They play with feelings of people. I do like to mention the names of these agents in Delhi. They are Mr Anuj Arora and Ms Harpreet. I would definitely like to share more if someone is interested. This is the case that happened in Delhi with me. Thanks for reading and do pass this message to your near and dear ones, not to make any deal with GE Money.
