I recently visited the Geetanjali salon in Dwarka Sector-11 as I had been wanting to do something interesting with my hair. So here is how my experience was:
I first went to the salon a week prior to my actual visit for a consult. I wanted to get hair smoothening and hair color done. Since I have never really experimented with such chemical procedures before, I decided to speak to them and clarify whatever doubts I had. The salon usually shuts by 8, but when I walked in during their closing time, they not only accommodated me but also did not rush me through the queries. The hair stylist answered all my queries patiently. I was convinced that I was in safe hands.
A week later, I fixed up an appointment and went for the procedure. The stylist on noticing my hair texture again, more carefully this time(as a week earlier I had straightened my hair for some occasion, after which the consultation happened ), suggested that since I only wish to change my look I should get my hair colored only and should avoid smoothing as I don’t really need it.(Even though the smoothening procedure was more costly than the color). They offered a genuine solution for whatever I was looking for. The stylist took almost 1.5 hours to color my hair and post that gave an amazing haircut as well, just the way I had asked him for.
I was amazed by the final results and received many compliments for the new look. Evry1 who has seen me post the styling, has appreciated it.
The hair color and hair cut cost me around INR 5700 (including taxes; I have long hair) which is not at all expensive as compared to the other places I have been to till now. Also, to protect my colored hair some products were suggested but were not forced on me. Not once was I told that if I do not use that expensive shampoo, conditioner and serum my hair will be ruined. I haven’t seen many salons who don’t lure customers into buying EXTRA.
The staff including the managers are extremely polite and courteous. For all my future requirements, I have become loyal to this Salon!!!!
