If you dont mind dusty interiors, badly dressed grouchy waiters and horribly outdated and shabby decorations, you can enjoy a cheap but tasty cup of tea and dosa here. I dont know why they are ignoring the aesthetics part in an increasingly ambience-conscious society!
I remember Geeta cafe from my 2005 visit in Chennai for shopping in TNagar and found it inexpensively delicious. I had a nice hot dosa and tea, though I remember thinking that the place looks awful.
It was much worse in 2010, when I visited TNagar again. This time, my family said an absolute No to the place as it lookedvery unhygienic. My mom commented that the waiter standing at the entrance must have last washed his shirt atleast a year back, it was that dirty!
It is a pity that a place with a good food and capability to be a crowd-puller is going to pieces cause of bad management.
