When your old PC Hard Disk Crashes and you have to go for a New one, then I recommend to Go for Brand "Segate".My 10 plus Years of experience with the PC Hardware components had given me faith on it.As per my knowledge its a good one because its sub components are of good quality, where as other brands use components of lower grades to increase the margins in the Product to sustain in the market with reduced prices, due to which I have seen major shot circuit faults in the Logic Board of HDD due to poor components. Where as Segate works for years and if their are no power supply failures that damages the HDD internal disk due to improper shutdowns.I recommend to use UPS to overcome these issues.
